- Country Responsibility Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia/New Zealand
New Country Development:Japan, Thailand, etc - Overall, commercial responsibility to achieve regional business development goals
- Implement & further sharpen Babor Asia Business Strategy e.g. i) country focus, ii) multi-channel development, iii) key brand lines etc. Next to developing the region and specific focus is on top beauty markets KOREA (current market) & Japan (‚White Space‘)
- Lead & support regional distributors to achieve goals, regular performance tracking; take corrective measures where required.
- Distributor Partner-Management & Administration: Contract tracking / renewal, key contact and support for partners in all relevant areas, control of receivables and POS budget, partner portal access, etc.
Developing the organisation i.e. elevate capabilities at our partners - Annual Planning: Annual agreements with partners, quarterly updates, integration of sales / marketing plans etc.
Establish country specific strategies/plan, priorities, measures. Marketing plans in collaboration with the regional marketing lead and our distributors. - Multi-Channel Strategy: A key business development pillar is the implementation and development of our multi-channel distribribution with Professional Channel as Core, complemented by E-commerce, Retail and Top-Retail/Department stores, Hotel & Medical Spas.
- Part of this will be to look into our Go to market approach i.e. re-visit capabilities of current partners
- Product & Pricing Strategy in line with regional focus:
Doctor Babor etc. + penetration of promotions, sets etc. Analysis of regional pricing etc. - Production Planning / Forecasting: Establish Annual / Monthly Forecasting by country
- Market & Business Analysis as basis for informed decisions, addressing challenges, identifying opportunities etc.
Eg. Sales, Channel, Product, Portfolio Analysis, Market/Segments etc. - Collaboration / Interface with key functions & stakeholders at HQ level: in order to ensure optimum support for the regional but also build ‚international‘ know how and market understanding at HQ level.
